Greetings, and welcome to CompuBlab!
CompuBlab is the brain child of Peter S. Lee, a computer professional with over 30 years of computer experience, and holder of both Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Computer Science. Over the years, Peter has worked in areas of computing that include CAD/CAM, Vehicle Diagnostics, Legal Software (bankruptcy filing), Banking, Online Information Databases, and Education/Training.
CompuBlab was born out of Peter’s desire to make computer technology approachable to the common man. Amazed by the ability of computer technology to improve all aspects of people’s lives, Peter has always sought to help others understand the “magic” in the boxes that sit on our desktops, on our laps, or now in our hands with smart phones and such.
To help with this, Peter includes a category entitled “Translated Tech News,” a category dedicated to translation and commentary of technical news items into a form that is understandable by the common man. It is his hope that you will find this information both of use, and interesting to read.
Peter has a particular compassion for those readers with medical issues, especially those whose online experience is the greater part of their social contact. If there is anything that would improve your experience upon this site, please do not hesitate to use the contact form to let us know. We will do all we can reasonably do to assist you.
All posts and comments on this site are moderated, which is to say that nothing is allowed to appear on this blog without a human being having approved it. Thus, you may rest assured that this site will bring you only quality posts and commentary.
Peter invites readers of all technology levels to participate, and thanks for stopping by!
